Shootball - Miscellaneous VFX

Worked on Shootball on and off for a few months in my first year at Coatsink, fixing bugs, increasing performance of popcorn packages but also creating fresh new VFX for the game.

A Confetti impact I've made for the lootboxes for Shootball, was very enjoyable to do as the confetti is a hand-drawn flipbook & come on, who doesn't like this many colours!

This is a blue variant of the walls you can spawn as a player, the base has been made by Hazel James with the centre holographic wall made by me, everything part of the effect is hand-drawn.

The gun spawner, considering we use guns to play shootball, this is where other guns would spawn you could use, was a bit tricky to get the mesh glows to feel right in engine as we can't use shaders. The base of this is a lovely prop made by Hazel James.

This is the main teleporter in the game, this basically brings players from the lobby into the actual game of shootball, a simple but effective VFX.

This is the impact you would see if you should any of the walls i've made as a custom impact effect, also hand-drawn.

This is one of the 2 spawn effect's I've made for the walls, the blue wall above has the same effect but just recoloured.
